Spitfire

We have a friend who cannot part with a 1973 Triumph Spitfire. She is importing it from her parents place in the States, and she needs a place to store it for the winter. My garage has been volunteered. I am going to tinker with it and try to make it roadworthy. She told a story of driving through a puddle and getting splashed while driving it. So the interior likely needs some work. I haven't seen it yet, but it should arrive this week. Some parts are accompanying it. I'll learn a bit, no doubt and I hope to be able to drive it when the warm weather arrives. I'll post some pics when the restore begins. Wish me luck! AB
