Ready for Hallowe'en

I was right. It is spooky. Celine added a few touches today, including fog and fire. No wonder the forecast is for warmer weather. We'll stay warm hanging around the fire-filled pumpkins. There's a ghetto blaster yet to added, with scary sound effects. Maybe we'll have lots of candy left over.
Here's something weird. There was a real house fire a few blocks from here. It has the yellow crime scene tape around it too. I wonder how many trick or treaters they'll get. 

Getting Ready for Hallowe'en

This year we've got 11 pumpkins carved up. I will take this pic again at night when all the lights are on. It looks pretty spooky! We had about 50 trick or treaters last year. I wonder how many will come this year. The forecast says it should be a bit warmer than last year.

We had a great time raking and playing. The rest of the leaves fell this week so it's back to the raking again this weekend. It rained recently so I don't think the kids will want to play in the wet leaves. Spike wouldn't mind.

Welcome to the Bennett Communiqué. I hope to make this a place where we can share our family stories. I'd like to post pics and vids so that we can all see what the others have been up to.
